The Oval Mausam Coffee Table, a variation of the round coffee table features a reeded timber detail that contrasts its smooth marble top. The name of this piece - 'Mausam' which translates to weather, is derived from the memories of an Indian monsoon. The design combines 2 strong materials which have been given a delicate form through the craftsmanship of carefully carving details into the piece.
Adapting the piece to incorporate a waste-reducing method, the top of the Marble Terrazzo option is made from recycled marble offcuts set into resin, aiming to reduce the waste from the marble industry. The pieces used to create the mixed tops vary in size and colour but can be customized to suit any space.
Please note that natural ash timber, like all hardwoods, undergoes a natural ageing process and changes colour over time with exposure to UV light and oxygen. Each individual piece in our Kam Ce Kam collection is handcrafted and made to order, minor variations may occur.
