A perfect match for the George Teak Garden Dining Table 240x100cm, the gorgeous George Bench is a wooden bench made of high-quality teak wood which is known for its strength and warm brown glow. Measuring at 220cm wide, it has the capacity to accommodate up to 4 people and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor usage.

Due to its natural oil content, the wood is very durable, resistant to wind and weather, rot and insects, requiring no maintenance - allowing year-round outdoor usage. The wooden slats are placed with a small space between them so the wood can expand and contract depending on the weather. The Sika-Design range of outdoor teak furniture is characterized by a warm colour that over time turns into a beautiful classic natural grey. If you wish to maintain the dark brown colour on the table, we suggest the use of a good teak-wood oil. To properly maintain the furniture, wash with water mixed with mild soap and remove stains with a sponge or medium brush. 

What is Indonesian Legal Wood?

Only premium sustainable plantation-grown teak from Indonesia is used for the manufacture of all Sika-Design's teak tables. The features of premium grade teak are of a straight grain structure, with the absence of knots, splits or cracks with an even overall colour that gradually turns grey over time.

All Sika-Design's teak tables carry the Indonesia Legal Wood logo and all teak-wood sourcing is overseen by the Indonesian government. This means that not one healthy tree too immature, or too small is removed from a forest.
